WHY I LIKE TWELVE AND NOT STUPID STORY?

1. Based on the story “Twelve and not stupid” written by Zuraidah Omar. If I were “I” in this story, I would think that the relationship between  Papa and Auntie May must there are a hidden agenda that could make my mum in sadness.    In my perspective Auntie May is Papa’s old friend that asks for help for money or maybe protection from her cruel husband. I thought that Auntie May was divorced and her husband was having affair with another woman. So, auntie may just want to ask Papa to pretend to be her boyfriend’s so her husband will not come to disturb her life again. There are many men in this world, why it  should be my Papa?. That makes me in the confusing situation. That's why I say auntie may must have the hidden agenda. She maybe secretly like Papa since she know Papa before, but her parents against their love because there is a difference in terms of religion and race as we know that Auntie May is Chinese and Papa is Malay. So that, Auntie May use this chance to get back her love.

   Next, when Papa asks I  to lie to Mama that must there a  hidden secret, something to do about Auntie May. Maybe mama knows that Auntie May is a Papa’s former lover, but did not know that they are still on contacting each other. If Mama knows about Papa’s lies I am pretty sure that Mama was totally in angry. That's why I am not wondering when Papa asks me to lie to Mama. I think Papa just don’t want Mama misunderstood about Aunty May. Even that, I still need evidence to accuse Auntie May and Papa have a special relationship behind Mama.

2.   Based on that story where is written by Zuraidah Omar, I like this story in general. I really fall in love with this story because there are many moral values and lessons that we can apply in our life or in future. In this story, the author  managed to bring an element of suspense in this novel that will make the reader keep wonder then make their owns perspective. That makes me as the readers, keep on reading to know what happens the ending of the story.As a parents we cannot teach our children about liars. For example, in this story  we know Sasha's Papa ask her to lie to her Mama about Auntie May. Although Sasha is a young girl who is only twelve years old I afraid that when she are grown up, she will be a liar person. Parents should teach and  shows a good attitude to be followed by children, such as honesty, kindness and etc. Next,we need to give a hand to help people who in hardship without thinking about the different religion, race and color of skin. For example, Papa is a kind person. He was wanting to help Auntie May who is a Chinese and different religion. Auntie May had a family crisis relating to Yem. Yem neglecting Auntie May. That's why she asks for help from Papa. Papa agrees wants to help her without wanting any reward. 

 3.  I think when I am going to film this short story, I imagine that the places in this film is at Johor Bahru. It is because Johor Bahru is a metropolitan city, town same as this story. I will imagine that Aaron Aziz, Eyka Farhana, Nora Danish and Soo Winci as my actors and actresses.  Aaron Aziz suitable to play a role as a Papa or Sasha's father. It is because he is so handsome, smart and having a good charisma. Nora Danish can become Sasha's mother because she is a kind person, has a beautiful face and smile. I believe she can take care of her daughter in good. Next, the main character in this story suitable to Eyka Farhana to play as a Sasha who is twelve years old. I chose Eyka Farhana  because she has a natural beauty innocent face. I know she will carry this character very well. Lastly, Soo Winci as Auntie May.  As we know, Soo Winci is a Chinese. I think she can play a role as Auntie May because she is originally Chinese and can play a part of women who have a lot of problems and ask people to sympathize with her. So that, the acting look real and great. Then, the scene  at the  Chinese Restaurant that where Auntie May, Papa and Mama discuss about how to settle the family problem relating to Yem. I think the scene should be doing at  Ong Shun Seafood Restaurant. It is because that restaurant was provided halal Chinese food with a wide variety of Chinese cuisine ranging from various hawkers fried rice and noodles to Chinese dishes to be eaten with plain rice to their exquisite seafood dishes and also have a famous pancake dessert.
